Sometimes you feel the longing, an ache in your heart. Something important is missing.
Living alone, without a partner, aged 45+ can be a fantastically liberating way to live. Increasing numbers of people in their 50s, 60s and 70s now live willingly alone.
But living alone can also be a source of loneliness, sadness and frustration. Our instinctual hunger for connection, love and partnership needs to be fed. Some find this hard to achieve through the solitary life.
The good news is you CAN heal your situation and the way you feel about it.
Perhaps a significant relationship has ended and you’re at a loss how to proceed?
Or perhaps that special ‘One’ hasn’t materialised in your life yet?
However you got to the point you’re at now, it’s entirely possible to live comfortably and at peace with yourself on your own AND, if and when you’re ready for it to happen, you can find the kind of relationship you long for.
The way to achieve this is simple to describe, but I won’t pretend that it’s always simple to achieve (though often it’s easier than you think). You’ll need honesty, authenticity and maybe even a touch of courage. But the rewards are very high!
To find fulfilment in your present situation and/or find a relationship that will heal your longing for love, you need to:
- fully come to terms with any hangover or pain from the past
- become very clear about what you truly need and don’t need
- learn to KNOW you can love and be loved (again)
- make your heart truly open to opportunities
My clients find the way to feel fulfilled in their life, whatever has happened previously. The kind of coaching I provide is forward-looking, positive and – most importantly – effective.
You and I will work 1-2-1, either by Skype, FaceTime or in person if practicable. We’ll agree from the outset an initial ‘programme’ of sessions which will be tailored to your unique situation, state of well-being and general circumstances. As you progress (which you will do!) the precise nature of the programme will change, in response to your wishes and needs. It really is ‘all about YOU’!
